Plus the simple act of importing is far more laborious than it should be. It also crashed on me when I was half done with Shepard, and I lost ALL of my progress at that point and had to start all over again. While BS3D can do some amazing things, it is a very unwieldy program and not at all user friendly. BS3D has some sort of hair creation feature, but I dread using it. So I need to create a real scalp for his hair. I painted his hair onto the texture, but now I have a problem of making that hair not look glossy like the rest of his face.

I rendered images of his head from different angles and used them in BS3D's "Projection Brush" to edit in GIMP. I created him with FaceGen, but I went further and used Blacksmith3D to paint his entire head using his game model as reference.
